Seems to me this piece suggests a kind of cause-and-effect that is always present in one form or another. It's a strong piece indeed. I particularly like the way some of the faces seem like they are asleep, unconscious of the aforementioned cause-and-effect of their actions and thereby unconscious of what effect caused those actions.
Or maybe I'm far off.
