Bunnymund POV~

It’s a week before Easter and I’ve been crazy busy! My bunny minions have been working overtime, getting all the eggs made in time. I’ve been stressed out like crazy.

“Hey! Kangaroo!! Wanna go do something fun?”

I look up to see Jack Frost flying down in front of me. I make a low growl.

“I’m obviously to busy. Easter is in a week!”

Jack gets a fake smile on his face.

“OH?! I didn’t know that....you work to hard, man. You need to let loose and have some fun!”

He shoots up into spiraling into the sky, screaming”

“Unlike some people, I actually work!! Leave me alone, snow fairy.”

I smile at my insult, and when he comes back, he’s angry, making my smile grow wider.”

“Listen here, kangaroo. I bring fun to people. You know what happens, when people get to stressed out? They crack, break, and go coo koo! You’re close, my friend. Very close.”

“Gaaaaa Get out Frost!! You’re hindering my work like always!!”

“Fine! But, head my words. Take. A. Break!!”

I watch as he flies off. Alone at last…the more I work the more his words start to get to me…I have been feeling sort of bad lately…could I really go mad from to much work? I make sure everything is going smoothly and hop out.

I breathe in the fresh spring air.

“Aw…the air is warm and comforting. The best season is Spring.”

I hop around the meadow, smelling the flowers and enjoying the weather. All off a sudden I see a flower in the wind. Huh? The more I stand there, more flowers start flying. What the? Suddenly, a whirlwind of flowers appears a few feet away. After a moment of strong winds, the wind dies down. Where the whirlwind once was, is a woman. She is wearing leaves and vines woven as shorts. Her top is a one shoulder strap garment made out of real flowers, holding covering her chest, but revealing a good amount of cleavage. Her air flows down to the grass. It is the most golden color I have ever seen. She turns to look at me. Those eyes…those pure green eyes like the meadow entrap me forever.

Spring!Spirit POV~

It’s you season. Spring. You are spring in every meaning of the word. You have the power to bring things to life and make them bloom into adulthood. The spirits of the land speak to you and you love to dance with them. You are carefree and trusting of anyone. After all spring is a time of life and joy, not a time of despair.

You turn to see Bunnymund staring at you wide-eyed. I guess he never had seen you in person before. You giggle and float over to him.

“Hello, Bunnymund.~ Nice to finally met you in person.”

“I…I ummmm…wh.....who are you?”

You smile at his nerves.

“My name is ______(Name). I’m the Spirit of Spring. I regret that I have not been able to met you until now. It really is a shame, since Easter, your holiday, is during my season. However, every time I have come to greet you, you are consumed in work. I didn't want to upset you.~”

He stares at you for a while. Then he seems to gain his composer.

“Well, ______(Name) I have a duty to make ever Easter a great success. I don't have time for fun during Spring time.”

You frown at that. No time for fun? Then where does he find his joy?

“How can you live without fun? Fun brings joy and joy brings life!”

To emphasize my statement, you twirl around in a circle, laughing and smiling as you summon a tree branch to entangle me and raise me above the ground. You touch the tree, thanking him for his help. As you sense the trees spirit’s kind and beautiful feelings of love and life flow to you, you feel your body grow warm full of emotion. You laugh and smile consumed with joy.

Bunnymond POV~
----------------------

I’ve never seen anyone so…full of life. As the tree grabbed her, she smiled. She seemed like she couldn’t stop smiling even if she tried. When she touched the tree with her hand, her body actually glowed!! She glowed; her body consumed of life!! She was different from all the other guardians. She is the opposite of Jack, who seemed to always have a mischievous plan. The sandman and tooth fairy is no match either for her unending happiness. Even the happy go lucky St. Nick is no match for her joy.

She smiles, looking at me.

“See? Life is to short to not enjoy every moment!!”

“W-Well…I guess fun's good every once in awhile, when it’s appropriate. But, I can’t let the kids down. I’m their hope. I work hard to make them all smile. I must work hard during spring.”

She nods in understanding.

“I’m not saying its bad to work hard. You should work for a noble cause, loyal guardian. However, that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy yourself as well. You need to relax.”

With a touch of her hand the tree lowers her down and recedes back. She moves over behind me and starts rubbing my furry shoulders.

Spring!Spirit POV~

Oh my gosh! His fur was so soft and cute!! You couldn’t help but massage his fluffy shoulder, trying to unknot his tightness. After awhile, he started to relax. Why is he so…cute? Oh those ears…you can’t help but to reach up and stroke his bunny ears.

“Aw…”

He tilts his head into your hand and you giggle, scratching his ears faster.

“That feels good doesn’t it?”

You scratch a certain spot behind his right ear, and he starts to thump his foot to the ground.

“There!!”

You blush. He is so cute…you wish you could spend more time with him. Get to know him. You liked him. He was soft, cute, a hand-worker, and a creature of spring like yourself.

“You really are cute.”

You feel his fur warm up as he blushes.

“T-Thank you ______(Name).”

Bunnymond POV~

______(Name) is driving me crazy. The way she scratched my ears made me thump my foot to the ground, happily. She was so…warm and kind.

“Hey, _____(Name) why don’t you come visit me not during spring when I’m so busy?”

She stops scratching and moves in front of me with a sad frown.

“I-I…t-that can’t work…”
“Why not?”

“We season spirits are only awake during our season. The rest of the year we hibernate. This is my only time that we could see eat other…”

My heart sunk. This is the only time? But, this is my busiest time of the year!!

“That’s not fair…”

“Well…why don’t you not stress so much. You can set aside the week right before Easter to be frantic and worry, and the rest of the time you can be with me!”

My heart started racing when she said that. Me stay with her for almost an entire season? Jack did say I needed to relax more, and she…she is the perfect solution.

“O-Okay. I can agree to that.”

Spring!Spirit POV~

It has been three years or three springs since Bunnymund has starting staying with you every spring. He still reserved a weak before Easter to stress and work extremely hard, but the rest of the time he was with me. I showed him all the wonders and magic in spring. I showed him the giving of life of the flowers and the animals that breathe of life. I loved seeing his eyes light up and soon his stress faded. He became happy and joyful. Soon I feel deeply in love with him. Of course I never said anything. I was content with watching him be happy.

“Bunnymund!! Lets watch the flowers dance again! Their so beautiful!!”

He hops up to me more nervous than normal.

“What’s wrong?”

“_____(Name) do you like me?”

I smile.

“Of course! You’re my friend, Bunnymund!!”

He gets right in front of me.

“No, I mean do you “like like” me. _____(Name) You are the most beautiful being I have ever seen. Your spirit is so full of life an joy that it spreads to everything and everyone you touch. “

He grabs your hand and places it on his fuzzy chest.

“You have touched me. You have changed me. I feel the most happy with you. Everything you have shown me is beautiful. ______(Name) I have fallen deeply in love with you.”

You rarely ever cry. The only time you cry is when something dies, but you felt yourself bawling into your hands.

“I-I Love you to!!”

He kisses you and you feel your body radiate with a new feeling, love.

You two continue the schedule of meeting every spring, and spring has become the favorite time of the year for both of you.
