I thought about writing a tutorial as a few people have asked me about technique etc ,but really there isnt much to tell.Half my shots use natural light from a window and the rest are with a desk lamp,a slightly faster shutter speed can help as smoke doesnt stand still and making sure the smoke is thick enough for the camera to capture can really help.
Further than that its mainly a case of trial and error.......and trying not to breathe so the smke doesnt blow away.Thats probably the hardest part.
