Description I've spent too many years staring
At empty walls that won't crumble.
They hold me accountable
For the times I've tried and failed
To find something worth believing in.
But one day a bright ray of light
Was placed in the middle of my path.
It was odd to me then
And is still surprising,
But I think I understand now.
We're all inventions
With one given purpose.
Those who choose to break the mold we're given
Find themselves in the majority
Full of nothing but hatred and greed.
If we even shaped the mold
We would still end up losing.
There are no ties,
No in between areas,
Only light and darkness.
Those who find themselves in the shadows
Will never be broken.
Why bother when your life is perfect?
But those who suffer and choose the light
Will know the difference.
They can see it every day
When no one else can.
It is those who will finally find a purpose,
A way of rattling the stars.
This world lives off two percent
And doesn't even know it.
When you find the light shining on your face
You'll finally be able to see the darkness.
Whether you grab the candle or not
Is entirely up to you,
But I highly suggest you do.
