Another truck cuts me off
I honk and honk but no one hears me
I'm losing wheels by the minute
The gas tank is running out
Engine blows a fuse or two
I'm spinning out
The car is stalling
I can't see because of the snow
My phone is dead to call for a tow
I get out to walk on the shoulder
No coat and it's ten below
My breath comes out as solid ice
I'm starving and thirsty
There's no one in sight
It's just me on this long highway
I've made too many wrong turns
I'm losing my way and my direction
I see my dead car again
I've been walking in circles
I head to the pine tree woods
There's the dreaded car again
I look for home and only find my car
I'm dying and I know it
But when I search for my car
There's my house and my home
