Chapter 5 - Page 006Fun Fact: this page is FAR older than any of the other ones. This page was inked and scanned back in early September. Even with a few distractions here and there, it still took me HALF A YEAR to figure out the plot of one chapter.

Also: no, just because the steamcat's collar is metal with a blinky light does not automatically mean it has the gift of speech. I don't know where you'd get such a hair-brained idea JEEZ. |Dc

First, there's the way Pete's speech becomes blurry when Sally blanks him out because she's too busy staring at the cat~

I *wondered* if the steamcat was looking particularly menacing (or if it was just in a pouty mood due to being a cripple), but I opted out of making him a'dawww-able because A) I'm a quirky nutbar, and B) it's to imply that Sally's drawn to it for reasons other than cuteness...
