Once again based on the Meme by images-wixmp-ed30a86b8c4ca8877… , this is the last time I'm going to do this Meme, because I want to save some ideas for some other people who might want to do this Meme. While having a cartoon character act and behave stupidly in cartoons might get a cheap laugh in the short run, it really makes it HARD to try to make them smarter, have more empathy for them, and have them become more complex in the long run. Granted, there have been occasions where Stimpy HAS been an actual voice of reason, and has managed to BE in-universe, a decent animator, striker for Sidekick's rights, and an inventor of odd things that work. And I always thought that it would've helped Stimpy's character, to not only have more empathy for him, but also help to explain the times that he is able to invent smart things and be the voice of reason, is if he were Autistic and had Autism in the original "Ren And Stimpy". Well, hopefully when their revival show comes along, with Autism no longer having as much of a stigma as it once did, Stimpy will get to be elevated to be Autistic, and also let Ren have more moments where the audience can empathize with his struggles. That's something I would really like to see in a "Ren And Stimpy" revival! "Ren And Stimpy" are copyrighted by Games Animation and Nickelodeon; all rights reserved.
