Pain racked her body, tears crept into her eyes
The silence was broken by the sound of her cries
Hurt and doubt so deep, it felt as if she'd be torn
Brought the pain of her heart and took physical form

She knew her mistakes, the sins of her actions
Felt the terror inside; of which each sin was a caption
She'd known this would come, but she'd allowed herself to hope
Now she'd fallen for real and knew he was no longer willing to lower his rope

Hitting rock bottom, she fell to her knees
Praying and hoping he'd answer her pleas
Ups and downs, all arounds til she thought she was through
And yet here she was still crying out for you

But no answer came, and slowly she rose
Silenced her cries and sniffled her nose
Grew cold from the silence at a very high price
The now everlasting tears on her cheeks had turned to ice
