Yeah, they mean did you put it through photoshop and add a filter to give it the normalmap look

Just took a picture of my sketch pad. I'm not sure if it qualifies though.

It does, "Photographs of an entry made in another medium are acceptable."
Although, I should put this image in Paint or Gimp or something and scale it up. They need a minimum of 2000 pixels on the shortest length.
