Ok, to add brushes, you can download both Gimp and Photoshop.. Search for a folder called Brushes and put the files in there, before u start GIMP back up....


The best way to make background for pic is to upload a pic to gimp then click new, design the back ground. then go to the original pic, and find a tool that looks like a pair of scissors and click the outline of the pic, each time u click there will be a dot, when u click again along the edge another dot will be there and will be connected by a line, if that line isn't forming to your pic, click to make another dot and make it form to it...

Keep going around the outline of the pic, till you connect with the first dot again... then hit the enter key... copy the image and the paste it on your background u made... (that's how i do my pics)

Also, here's one more, use the burn and dodge brushes cause they help with the bright spots and shadows
