  While artblocked I discovered that the best way to get out of it is to simply... invest on a species. Not even with much on mind: Pick the last creature you made and go on with it! You will get loads of ideas and will soon find yourself drawing loads of things for them.
  Those are Ulgogos - they are an alien species of a cold moon who orbits a neon gas giant. Neon as in, it is glowy. During the day, their planet has a orange sky and at night, due to the gas giant's glow, it turns red. And you can already guess that I left aside some scientific accuracy to let my creativity go as it pleases - but lets be honest, if the universe is infinite then wheres the rule saying that I can not have a pink glowy orb? hehe
  Talking about the Ulgogos, they are afro to curly haired and stripey. The natural colours on their planet are all cold, and as such they come in variations of mint, cyan, blue, purple and pink. Their insides and claws work a bit differently and can have any colour, though it will often be bright and natural. They have a long, prehensile tail, hand-like feets and no pawpads - however the furlessness of their palms extend to their forelimbs. Their ears are very expressive and tubular and their faces are furless.
  One of the most interesting things about the ulgogo is their reproductive ways - seen as an all female parthenogenesic species by others, the ulgogo has no sexual dimorphism between its males and females (with the only exception being a little hump on the male's genitals, who are basically identical to the female's). Their sexual act is non penetrative and the male carries eggs fertilised by the female, and sometimes the concept of male and female biology on them gets blurry.
  The ulgogo has no concept of gender or gender roles, much less the concept of biological sex - they do know, however, that one is able to fecund eggs and the other is able to carry the fecunded egg. The discovery of which type one is only happens when they are fully sexually mature and is taken with as much relevance as if one's nails are straight edged or sightly bended.
  They are pacific herbivores, gaining an adult body before sexual and mental maturity. This led them into trouble as alien species found them to be the perfect kind of worker: Dumb, pacific and strong. Since their planet has no defense against external attacks or kidnapping, alien forces settled protection and research centres on their planet's poles.
  Their culture surrounds around the simplicity of things and the instability of an ever-changing life - heavily inspired by wabi-sabi ways, i must say. They have many rituals to appreciate peace, nature and mainly, food and sex. Because as much as they are a genderless species they can be extremely creative when it comes to toys and ways one could please another.
  The creation and appreciation of recipes for them is heavenly important and celebrated. Assymetry in dance, music and shapes are also percieved as beautiful for the ulgogo.
  Ulgogos lack a divine concept and see time as circular - everything that is bound to happen, will happen + what happens to you you will make happen to others. The benefit of a community is more important to the pride of oneself and with the unquestionable "what happens to you, you do to others" view they do their best to keep peaceful and understanding.
  This is also the reason why they were so exploited once "discovered". Alien forces joined to protect the ulgogo, their solar system and their culture, however, many ulgogo are still scattered around space, as workers, as independent people, successful and unsuccessful but mainly, as creatures who did not forget what they are because they did not even get the opportunity to know they are something to begin with.
