I'm commenting four years after you published this amazing piece, and I want to bring your attention to the Titanfall game. The first game came out in 2014, and the current game, Titanfall 2 is an amazing fast paced FPS. If you ever check it out, you'll totally understand why this piece of art perfectly depicts those games.Β

its funny because i came up with this idea of future close combat gunfight that include some kind of mech pilots and aircraft extraction long before those games where even in production. I love both of those games and every time i see them i think about how they mach with the world i was having in my mid long agoΒ

I'm so glad to hear that you're aware of the game. I just wanted to mention that I did post your artwork on the titanfall subreddit, crediting you of course and linked back to this page. Hope you don't mind.

This is too good. I would love to see more situations where the suit has to be on the front line.

You are a sci-fi genius. Another great image. Great style and sense of drama.

Love the sense of peril you've imbued this with, not over done, just the perfectly realized sense of tension, you can almost feel/hear the scrape the (figure to far right) boots as he skitters backwards to the ship - and the aftershocks of isolated gunshots as the figure on left picks off advancing forces. A really fun work to view and experience.

And you can almost here the mechanical whirring/workings or the mech as it runs along

Very cool. The thrusters remind me of the ships in the Matrix. I love the motion pose of the walker. Those security guys are slacking though. More should be providing cover rather than trying to be first on the evac ship.

You have amazingly captured the overall motion and "hurry up" feeling ^^ I can feel the leaving ship's turbulence and noise, it happens rarely! Good job!
