Description

I wanted to redo an old pic but since I don't own the original character, I took one of my own forgotten ones for it, and the story is slightly different.

Cole is lying on the couch, staring at the ceiling and reflecting on how unfair things are. Why does his brother get a brand new outfit, while he gets tasked with chores? Is it even logical? He looks down at the old ragged clothes he's wearing. If he's got to go out and buy groceries while everybody else is out having fun at the mall, it makes no sense for him to look like a sack of potatoes. In fact you know what? it's downright cruel to force him to do that.

Now that he thinks of it, the new outfit is right upstairs unattended in his brother's room, and no one will be home for another few hours... you know what else makes no sense? The outift just sitting there. Your brother isn't even wearing it at the moment. What a waste. How about just borrowing it for a little while... wearing it out to the store, transform an unpleasant chore into at least a bit of an event. His heart beats fast as he sneaks upstairs and carefully opens his brother's bedroom door. It's there on the bed; Cole stands there for a few minutes in hesitation. He knows he's not welcome in there, let alone to borrow something... let alone not just anything, but the brand new, expensive outfit his brother's not had even a chance to try on yet. But... he thinks... come on, your brother will never know. Just a quick trip to the store. The trickiest part might be to get it as neatly folded again, and even you should be able to get that right, no?

Still a bit scaredy, Cole grabs the outfit, complete with running shoes, and tip-toes to his room to get changed. He undresses, looks one last time at the nice outfit, breathes in, and puts it on. It feels great as brand new clothes do. Maybe they're a bit big on him. But he must be looking real good. Excited, he runs to the bathroom and looks in the mirror. He's so happy, he immediately takes a few selfies. Those of course will be for himself alone, but now he can't wait to go buy the groceries. He hastily combs his hair and runs downstairs to get the money.

The way to the store is an adrenalin rush. It feels like he's walking too fast, nervous about what he's doing. Even at the store, he's almost regretting his decision... almost. The strong emotions feel pretty nice all things considered. All the eyes on him make him feel a boost of self-esteem. Wearing this outfit makes him feel more powerful than ever in his life. On the way back, grocery bag in paw, he elects to take his time a bit more, walking more slowly, taking detours... There's the idea that he should enjoy this rare time as much as possible while it lasts. And another idea, linked to how this all makes him feel. Like he's defiant. Daring the devil to come at him and test his newfound invincibility. He almost wants to take an even larger detour and taunt fate more, going straight to the mall where his family would actually risk seeing him!

As he keeps walking, tho, and starts to feel a bit tired, he abandons this idea. Not chickening out, just being reasonable. And so he takes a shortcut back home through a bit of an abandoned part of the neighborhood. Houses under construction or renovation, abandoned houses, empty lots, oh my... it's a bit of a lonely place and Cole breathes in and out the cool pleasant air, certainly more relaxed.

He doesn't have time to register the presence behind his back, before they grab him from behind, one hand around his chest, the other on his mouth preventing him from screaming. They drag him into a bush and tackle him down in the dirt on his stomach.

His panicked mind races all the way to the other side as he imagines the worst case scenario.

“L-look Ed!” he yelps as the paw's removed from over his mouth. “I'm sorry! I'll give it back! Let me go...”

His heart turns to ice as a stranger's voice coldly snaps : “Shut up.”

He doesn't have time to process it, before a handkerchief is stuffed into his mouth. He squirms on the ground in vain, kept firmly in place by the stranger's weight. That's not good.

They then proceed to pat him up and down quickly but firmly, and snatch his phone from one of the pants pockets.

Now realizing what's going on, Cole pleads weakly, to no avail. The mugger flips him over on his back, unbuckles the loose pants and easily pulls them off his legs. Before long, and despite Cole struggling all he can, he's stripped down to what little is actually his, his underwear and socks. Dressed down back to his regular loser self. He stops struggling, defeated, as this has gotten him nothing but to get roughed up and exhausted.

He manages to spit out the handkerchief. “Give those back, asshole”, he cries, shivering.

“Haha, or else what you little faggot? Whacha gonna do?” comes the answer as the stranger stuffs the handkerchief back into his mouth, and slaps a strip of duct tape over it. “Thought as much.”
They then simply tape his wrists and ankles up, elbows, thighs, and leave him there. They also leave the grocery bag next to him, simply taking from it an energy bar he had bought for himself.

“So long, faggot,” they sneer, messing up his hair and giving his butt a spank. “those are not your size anyway. Also they're way too nice for you. But they'll make a nice gift for my lil bro...”

“HMMMRRRHF!!!” Cole screams back, crying of anger and gesticulating, but there's nothing he can do but watch the stranger calmly walk away with his brother's clothes, his parents' wallet, and his own phone. Nothing he can do but sniffle as he then considers his situation. Not good, he thinks as he squirms, trying desperately to break the tape. Could he get free and walk home before his family arrives? What difference would that even make? He would have a bunch of 'splaining to do regardless. But at least he wouldn't have to do the 'splaining in his underwear. Time passes and he falls back, a bit exhausted, the sticky tape still keeping him helplessly restrained.

“HLLPH! HNNUHMHF!?” he screams through the tape, hoping that anyone would hear him. Silence follows, and the low humming noise of the wind. He shivers due to staying put, recognizing that wriggling does him no good; it makes him notice in despair that the sun's going down and the air's getting colder. No chance now that he would be home before his family. In fact, he's anxiously wondering when anyone would find him. Not that he's really looking forward to what would have to be an embarrassing walk home.
