PLEASE DON'T FAVORITE!!!Screen shots for an episodic dating sim game I'm working on as part of a collaborative project...
I've wanted to do one of these since I played Super Paper Mario ><
So far I'm thinking of calling it Big Date, but it's still a work in progress ^^
*note the lame, blue background*
It will be awhile before I finish since programming is so boring ._.
In the first episode, a cast away washes up on a tropical island and eats some fruit that makes him shrink. He's then found by a kind islander who saves him from being eaten by crabs...
This will be a point-and-click sim where you make choices or use items to unlock scenes, animations, or mini-games.
Each episode has multiple endings.
Tell me what you think. Would this be an interesting idea for a game?
Also, send me a note if you have any ideas... But please don't ask me to have the chick take off her coconut bikini ._.

Well I don't know anything about flash so I can't help but I'll defnitly play this game. The graphics seems fine so far, I hope you're having a lot of fun working on it (that's the best way to make a good game. Have fun yourself ^^)

Doing the art is fun, but the programming is killing me ><
Anyway, the final product will look much better than the screen shots, so I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

Nah, this is pure Flash... though I suppose it would be easier with a Game making program ._.
And I'm about halfway done with the game.
It has two parts. In the first part, the boy has to get the girls attention. And I've already finished that ^^
Now I just need to work on the section where they talk. I should be done in one week or two...

Right, after posting my comment the thought that it could be done in Flash also crossed my mind. It's probably a bit simpler that way
I don't know if it would be wiser to go for a "game making program" for such a project, maybe your choice for Flash is the wisest
I'm a software and game developer by trade and deal with more serious stuff mostly, that's why I was curious as to how do you do it

Looks awesome, just wondering though, theres a bit of plot between those too questions right? I mean although shrink/gts dating stories are awesome there should be something like "Do you know what happened to me?" or "how did you get so small?" or my favorite thing a micro can say.... "Eep!"
