I like how you made the breath less of the traditional flame and more of a molten cloud of ash and hate.

why on EARTH would a dragon riding hunter be so skimpily dressed?!

wear less because it is very HOT in such a dragon battles, and one cannot limit range of motion of fighter body for FIGHT such dragon.
if wear more, then heat stroke, dehydrations, and cannot swing arm or hip or leg to slay enemy dragons.
it is a PURE SCIENCE

but exposed, bare skin will burn in such heat, material would provide protection! there's a reason firefighters wear suits!

Because society says so!
(I always think of that myself. It doesn't make literal sense. It only makes sense with the way the world's going. Also, if she were actually fighting and she received a dragon breath from that beast, even one puff, she might get burned so bad she wouldn't have any legs to show! But for some reason, people don't care about reality. I guess no one thinks or wants to think about the repercussions to their fantasies. )
And to 6kart: Well done angle though. I'm not sure if you have any of a male warrior doing a similar thing, but if you do and I haven't seen it, please let me know!

The repercussions of not being properly dressed while riding your dragon?

Not riding, fighting other dragons. If you're riding a dragon that's fighting another dragon and you have next to no clothes on, then obviously you're gonna get burned.
LOL

Hahaha, yeah, it only works for satisfying fantasical ideas I guess, not much use in reality though. In reality, gear up! Unless you're a Spartan. In that case go naked and freak out your opponent. XD
If there's strategy behind it, well and good. But if not... cover up butter cup!
But I love art just for the sake of art anyway. Not all art is based on reality, and sometimes that makes it great.

More goodness? Lay it on me!
Oh good, thank you for the link. I need stuff like this for reference. Perfect. It reminded me of Adam Ford (not that it's the same, but it reminded me). Do you know who that is? I mean, I know a few artists, but maybe you know a lot that I don't. Two questions I'm curious for you to answer:
1) Do you know of Frank Frazetta?
2) Considering our little conversation on society's values, (your comment, my paragraph, your sentence long reply haha), I was wondering what you thought of the new Batman v Superman trailer...
This is just a gorgeous animal actions scene:
davidsdoodles.com/wp/wp-contenβ¦
And I wonder what this koala looking monster is. Can you imagine? A koala that looks like a monster? That actually is a really good idea. A staple cutesy as a haunting villain.

hmmm... an interesting villain indeed! and as an answer to your question, no I hadn't heard of Frazetta before, but I just googled him, and he's awesome! I especially love this one:Β www.nerdist.com/wp-content/uplβ¦
Also, I think the batman v superman movie looks good!
oh, and I haven't heard of frank ford.
BTW if you need references to help with your art I can HIGHLY recommend THIS book!Β www.amazon.com/Animals-Real-Imβ¦
it's by my absolute favorite artist in the whole world, Terryl whitlatch, and it has some AMAZING animal illustrations and sketches in it!

Spectacular. And not just for the rider, but the texture of the dragon's skin/scales, the fireballs in the air, the obviously large dragon they are fighting. Very nice piece.

Question. What does she do with the spear when she want to draw the bow? I don't see a way to put it away. Unless that's what the string/wire is there for.

If by "part of" you mean spectator to the total carnage and violent fiery destruction from 10kilometers away using a 1500mm Cassegrain telescope, then yes, by all means, be a part of the action.
I'll be a km further behind you... hidden in a camouflaged bunker and fully descented so there is not even a LITTLE possibility of that dragon knowing I am there.
