that's awesome! Have you ever thought of messing around with colour concepts. I know you like it realistic(I do to) but I've had fun trying that out. Or depth drawings, instead of light-shadow... just some input

Thanks for the comment.  I uploaded this a while ago and had forgotten about it until you commented on it.  I could probably import this into Photoshop and see what I could with the colours - is that what you in mind?

The original picture had a black background and I had contemplated applying a charcoal background to make this pop a bit more.

Hmm, i didn't mean for this drawing specifically, more like if you generally considered it. You may take my words for however they inspire you most do you know what i mean with colour concepts? If you feel like trying something out in photoshop, go ahead i also recommend depth drawings, cause its a really interesting exercise for figuring out how for an example a face works, but on an entirely different level

Thanks for the comments - to be honest this is the first time I've used graphite pencils. I've been totally inspired by the art on Deviant Art to try something myself and submit it.
