maybe the tree mushroom is like a torch on a wall, it is just a slightly tilted mushroom texture, but the mushrooms can only be placed 1 block off the ground if placed on a log, giving the possibility that in swamps you can find collapsed trees (4-5 sidways logs on the ground) with red and brown mushrooms growing on the sides and tops of them.
This is now apart of EnderBeastCraft :3
credit will be given for the original idea

Fallen trees would be ok for swamp biomes. But still, I'm not sure about their purpose. At the moment I was also thinking about 3 more mushrooms, also one edible because I want turn red one into bad mushroom which gives short poison and nausea effects. And also replace red one in mushroom stew recipe.

I was gonna add black mushrooms to EnderBeastCraft and they could be added to mushroom stew recipe to make poisonous stew which is worth more hunger and saturation, but cause poison for long enough to take you to 5 hearts. Since i was gonna add boars and bulls to the mods too, they werr gonna have mushroom biome counterparts which are black mushrooms, and swineshrooms (pigs in mushroom biome) which give brown. There are also Musheep which have all 3 colored wool (red black and brown) which can be sheared off, and will also drop the respective mushrooms. If that sheep eats grass, it grows normal wool, while i it eats Mycelium, it grows mushroom wool.
