definately prefer this one over the other - suits the landscape direction view and the colour so strong works so nice with the silhouettes!

Me too, this is one of my favourite sunset shots...I think it's the well-positioned clouds in the center of the photo which partially cover up the sun that make this photo what it is. If it weren't for them, the sun would have been too bright and the composition wouldn't have been the same either...

you're right. Still, I'm a beginner. But I know one important thing: you don't have to be sad and always compare your work to that of great photographers. There are plenty nice things out there that are worth shooting. Shoot them!
