Description
After Bismuth learned her mistake from the past with the breaking point, Steven decided to show Bismuth two other gems he meet that kinda had the same problem. When they got to the barn, Bismuth was ready to greet those two mysterious gems. But a twist came when one of those mystery gem "knew" who she was. Everyone was confused, even Bismuth herself. Hurt by Bismuth denial and confusion, Lapis try to make her remember the past in the war. But that only makes Bismuth more confuse. So now Lapis holds a grudge against Bismuth, it's up to Steven, and Peridot (who just got her face punched by Lapis), to help resolve Bismuth and Lapis relationship.I always loved fanarts of Bismuth meeting Lapis and Peridot.So I decided to draw my own version of Bismuth meeting Lapis. (and Peridot) Even tho I actually found this idea on some YouTube comments. So I hope you guys enjoy this comic about Lapis getting a hug karma slapping her face.

The way Bismuth and Lapis meet in canon felt like the writers decided “Nah! Let’s just have the two not care about each other.” I like your take better.

And I do agree with you on the whole Bismuth and Lapis meeting was a little lazy. We ain't exactly 100% sure if our Bismuth was actually the one who proofed Lapis in the gem war.
Even tho I really love that theory and a lot of the details on that Bismuth points to our Bismuth the most.

I think instead of an episode completely focused on Watermelon Steven, it should start with Steven using his Psychic powers to use one of the melons for the first minute, and while he migrates to Beach City off-screen, the rest of that episode focuses on Bismuth making her amends to Lapis or explaining that she wasn’t the one who attacked her, and the episode ends with a half-dead Watermelon Steven arriving to see the three gems training together.
I already expected Lapis and Peridot to regenerate and return in Change Your Mind too much for it to be a surprise anyway, and if our Bismuth wasn’t the attacker, then it would have further explained why Lapis befriended her so quickly.
