So, this picture portraits a "female" Obsidiman. (In German language, the term for this race doesn't sound that 'male'. It is 'Obsidianer'.)

Obsidimen are a race from Earthdawn RPG. They are made of living, magical stone and they are very different from the other 'Namegiver' races. (Elfs, Orks, Humans, etc.)

Obsidiman have no gender, but to go on better with other races, they choose to behave like they got one. Most Obsidiman act and dress like the biggest group of males around them (if he would live in an elven city for a while, he would dress like male elves), but there are also rare cases of Obsidiman who 'decide' to 'be' female.
