Description

The prior is the culmination of days of research...staring at various angles and settings of Shibuya and presenting U-E with concepts and choices and color schemes for how we eventually wanted this background to look. It took hours just to sketch the thing, which is the main reason that we don't normally do backgrounds, and then was followed by intense discussions as to whether or not we'd color it on the computer (to make it closer to the game) or using U-E's traditional style (which we're more comfortable with.) Following the game style won out, in the end, and this is its current incarnation.

Since neither Saeru nor I do much in the way of this kind of style normally, we hope rendering DIGITALLY a BACKGROUND doesn't shock anyone. ^_^;
