hmm it depends what your animating, eyes are easy ; v; I use paint tool sai and gimp to animate.

Oh I see ok....I once tried animation and uhh...Mostly just screenshots of my drawing. Put it together and it looks like its flailing.

I usually start of a animation with sketches in different layers, when it looks smooth enough I add colour and line. Totally right dude, totally =v =
