To be honest I only made this comic because I needed pics to sync up with the chorus of a video I'm making, because otherwise I don't know who would be crazy enough to do this in real life ha.These two are from a short lived Archie reboot series that debuted this year called 'Cosmo'. I'm really hoping they decide to continue it sometime in the future.
It starts out when our human space hero Max is stranded in space and picked up by Cosmo and his crew. They have a really rough start but grow on each other the more they work together in saving the galaxy.
And I genuinely kinda started shipping these two cause I'm an absolute sucker for that dynamic agh.
I ship Cosmo with his canon love interest Astra as well, they have a great dynamic from what I've read in their bios, but they really didn't show that enough in the comics for me to be completely hooked.
On a different note, I had a lot of fun trying to match the Archie comic style while adding my own little touches. It's always fun for me to experiment with comic layouts and I love how exaggerated this one turned out!

Aww, I wish there were more art of these two. I just found out about the series this evening
but there's really not a lot of fanworks, in both the art and writing department.

Well that's pretty dang cool! The things that really drew me in was one of the variant covers I saw for issue 2, then later finding out the teams behind this comic also worked on the Sonic and Mega Man comics with Ian Flynn as the main writer.
I'm glad I decided to check it out, it's really well written and I love how humerous it is compared to some of the more serious things the team has done with other works. To find out later it was a reboot of one of Archie's old comics, I was glad to finally have something original to like about their comics heh. Hoping that we'll see more of this series in the future, I feel they only scratched the surface of what this could have been.
I'm so embarrassed this was the first piece of Cosmo art you had to see from me but I greatly appreciate the comment nonetheless!

you do good art, I really liked the comic right off the bat too and I hope the publisher gives it a chance. Heck in my case I did a review of the first issue on my youtube channel and I have been SO tempted to make action figures of the cast (their designs are really similar to Sonic characters so it fits right in my wheelhouse)

Aw thank you. That would be so cool to see you make the cast, you do such an amazing job with all your customs and I'd love to see them in your style! Definitely gonna check out your review as well when I get the chance. When I first saw the character line up, I actually got a lot of Mega Man vibes from the style (issue 4's cover especially ha) but I can definitely see the Sonic influence in there was well.
