“If I knew this was going to happen, I would have gotten up earlier. I wouldn’t have slept in and I wouldn’t have stormed off without saying a word to either of my friends. I wouldn’t have been a jerk to the woman I held dearest to me. I would have left them with nice things instead of leaving the way I did, leaving them with just somber memories of when we were last together. Maybe I would have told them how I really felt, or how much they meant to me.”
