Description
What're you doing here? Go read the story already! [link]This movie poster isn't really an accurate depiction of the content, but well, it's a good story, so read it
There was this book or movie or something called 'Pay it Forward', i think, i never saw it, but the message was something along the lines of 'if someone does you a favor, pass it on', or something.
has done something like this for me on ...countless occasions, so i figured i should at least try and pass on the favor.
Anyways, it's a nice short story. quick read, but definitely worth your time.

Very nice. I should probably check out that story when I don't have anything else to do.
(I'm so lazy when it comes to reading...
Well, at least it seems interesting so yeah, I might actually read it.

Kiitos! It's a quick read, for real. and definitely worth it! Although it's not really as scary as the poster suggests.
gah, this day has been such a waste. i hate days off when i can't drive. and the rain doesn't make things any better. maybe i'll draw another picture now. GWWAH!!!

I gotta check it out one day. I'm seriously trying to read more stuff, but sadly I'm one of those who just can't read stories if they're long, even if they actually are interesting, my attention span is just telling me to do something else. It's odd as I can read long comics (expect that one webcomic...) just fine (as long as they're interesting, of course).
This day (well, okay, yesterday for me) indeed was such a waste. Pretty much the only thing I did was that I played CTR again (I never seem to get enough of that game). That game already made my thumb hurt a lot, but now it hurts even more. Oh and now that you mentioned the rain, it kinda reminds me of the past two weeks around here. Cold weather and it's just about always raining. It also is pretty dark outside early now. I hate the dark, gahhh.
... Now I also feel like drawing something. Such a shame I don't have any ideas.

OOH! i finished my first human sketch, working on that lil Jack project i told you about a while back. I'm almost afraid to ink this, since there's so many lines and stuff. oh well. Now to get started on Samurai Jack...fruit.

Ooh! The last time I tried to draw a human turned out horrible! Oh and... Oh yeah, that one, I almost forgot (you know I have the memory of a dried trout)! Sounds like my inking... It's always a bit scary when I ink my stuff, I'm afraid I ruin the work (which probably is the reason why I always scan the sketch version, so if it fails with traditional inking, then I just finish the whole thing by using a computer). Inking stuff isn't easy when your eyes are tired and your hands shake like crazy, which is exactly my situation. D=
... You know, 'Samurai Jack(fruit)' sounds pretty awesome. ... Wait, isn't Samurai Jack some serie? I mean, I have no idea, but it sounds oddly familiar...

I saw maybe... one episode of Samurai Jack.
i'm kinda prejudiced against western style samurai stuff. i couldn't stomach the first episode of Afro Samurai, either... i dunno. XD
i heard Samurai Jack was good, but... my mind is too narrow in that respect to enjoy it. sigh.
yeah, i'm going to probably do the inking with the computer, but the lines are way too light at this point so i will have to at least attempt traditional inking.

Well, I haven't seen a single episode of Samurai Jack and I have no idea what it's about. Maybe it never aired around here, or if it did, it of course was on a channel that I couldn't watch.
Well, usually my sketches have very light lines, too, but I always adjust the brightness of the sketch by using Photoshop/OpenCanvas/Sai/whatever program I feel like using a bit to make the lines darker so I can actually see what I'm doing and then I'll just draw on a new layer. *sigh* I wish I could start my work as a traditional artwork and finish it as a traditional artwork, but nope, usually it starts as traditional, but ends up being digital (like many drawing in my gallery are like, they started as traditional art, but then they failed in a way or another and so they turned into digital art). Speaking of drawing, maybe I could ink this one drawing without ruining it. Oh, I can only hope...

It wasn't on for too many years, actually. maybe more people shared my sentiments than i thought.
!!! oh yeah!!! I could do something like that!!! but they'd have to initially show up on the scan to begin with... i'll try it next time. i can't believe i forgot about adjusting the brightness. i used to do that all the time i'm getting old.
