while i'm not particularly privy to that term, i searched DA for that and found a single deviation that kinda explained it to me and well, yeah. hahahaha i wish i could get to the point where my drawings look like what they're supposed to be portraying 
but i'm so glad you find it humorous and not disturbing!
never drawing Shenzi again. her bangs seem easy to draw, but they're next to impossible

This piece turned out amazing my friend! Wow perfect detail in both the characters. Shenzi you hit dead on and Oliver! I'm loving this piece and poor little Oliver. He better get out of there! Great job as always. Even with your insane work schedule you managed to find time to pull off a brilliant piece

i tried a different style of shading... actually rather simplistic, but i think, ultimately effective (err, moreso than what i typically put out)
i had such a struggle drawing Shenzi. it's probably the last time i'll ever draw a hyena again. a close up was hard enough, i don't think i could even address the entire anatomy of hyenas, considering they're shaped so weird
but thank you! i hope perhaps to have a few hours off again next week, because i have a backlog again of drawings i'd like to do.

Shenzi looks fantastic to me. I have never really attempted any of the hyenas from Lion King, but have thought about it. I think it turned out great and the shading looks really good to me as well. I'm always impressed by your work. I'm not too kind. Just being honest

I am loving your idea for the next piece. Yes it takes a lot more work if you do whole body pieces. I'm sure once you have the chance to draw it will come to you what will be best. I should give Tito a shot one of these times

zzz. been at work since 11 last night and won't finish until i dunno 1 today?
i finished the sketches though! thankfully since my work monitor also happens to be my tablet... Banzai took a day to get right, but for some reason Tito took no time at all! he's so much fun to draw!

I don't know how you work those insane hours! By the time your shift is done I just imagine your eyes are super big and your hair is all over the place. You poor thing. I hope you found time to rest!
That is awesome you had a chance to get your sketches done. I always agree that part takes the longest and trying to get them right so you are happy enough to continue on with the piece. I haven't had much of a chance to draw the last few days. I hope I do soon! I just might have to try doing Ed eventually. I think he would be great to do and thanks for the bad kia soul joke. haha.
As for me it has been a rough week. I had oral surgery the other day and got two teeth pulled. My mouth isn't happy and I'm sore and swollen now. I have to get back to work tomorrow. I have so much to do and my friends dad passed away so I have that viewing tomorrow night and a family reunion this weekend. Ahhh so much
