Self-medicating with art is helpful.
Always wanted to draw Furrball with a Charlie Brown Xmas tree.
Was debating on when exactly to post this, but after thinking about it... it's really okay to be down during the holidays, and being sad then doesn't make one odd nor does it make it the end of the world. So, gotta represent for the blues.
Odd, i don't feel as sad now that i'm done drawing this. Oh well.
2012 is gonna be a rockin' year. and so, hang in there!

hahahaha Charlie Brown Xmas tree. this one is pretty old. that wasn't a great holiday for me, but thankfully this last Xmas was amazing.

Aww, this is beautiful! It looks just like a screenshot from the show, and I also love that it's Tiny Toons and Charlie Brown at the same time, you can't NOT love that. Great color scheme. The blues are sad, but sometimes they can make you sort of happy, you know?

i was originally gonna change the context of the scene, but seeing as how he was definitely depicted in this way on albeit rare occasions, i thought it fitting not to take too much away from it. i wonder how much more messed up Charlie Brown's life would've been had he had Furrball as a pet as opposed to Snoopy? >_<
i kinda love being sad... whenever i'm happy i get worried about how long i'm gonna stay it and it's hard to appreciate, but whenever i'm sad, it's cool what things i'll try to change to being happy again.
