I honestly hated what i originally did for Joe, so i thought i'd try to take another stab at Wakko (that's a terrible expression, why do they have it?!)and bring along a few friends for the ride.
Especially after she surprised me with this little gem.

Now, Sparkz might be scared to death of 95% of canines out there, but it's a different case altogether if he's not the one being threatened.
Though, really, Scamp probably wasn't in any real danger in the first place; i dunno where where Wakko hides his mallet, but i doubt he'd let anything happen to the little guy.

rugged, manly Sparkz is rugged and manly. XDD err. ...
i don't have much luck drawing alleys and... Sparkz fighting in an alley can never end well (there isn't much room to run around in, so it's always close combat, not to mention being dank and dark and nasty there
but yeah. it's nice he's not allowing himself to be bullied or harassed here, even if he's the one butting in this time. which makes one wonder... would the dogs chase him if he didn't run away in the first place?

hahahaha yeah it kinda takes the pressure off of you since you're not the focal point so you're not the one being blindsided. that was one of the first things i learned training as a bodyguard, was that it's not about YOU it's about THEM.
it's funny, with Sparkz' relationships how different aspects of his personality and situation manifest themselves..
with Socks, you an see his prejudices (well, a long time ago, anyway) and his vulnerability
with Jackfruit, his crazy, mischievous younger sibling side come out
with Chafe, his guilt and competitive side are at war with one another
and i guess with Scamp, he has the ability to harness his capabilities as a protector.
i'm not sure he'd be able to trigger any of those aspects with different characters and it be believable, much like i guess people. i mean i'm evil when it comes to certain people and not so much with others XDDD

i'd say around 90% of people i'm not evil, but it's that 10% of people out there that just exist to make the world a worse place and are greedy, malicious and happily profit off of the suffering of others that make it hard for me to control anything, least of which my tongue, being in their presence. i tend to stay clear of said people, though. if i listed what kinds of people i was talking about, i'd probably offend many putting some of them in the same category, so i won't, but... i'm sure you wouldn't have a hard time understand why it's hard to be kind to people with those characteristics.
Sparkz' balance is critical, but much like the chemicals in the brain, it's hard to keep a consistent, correct mix.
thankfully whenever he's feeling like Superman, he's got Socks there to inadvertently remind him that he isn't (among all the other very positive things Socks' presence does for him, of course XD)

no harm came to Scamp during the drawing of this picture. can't say the same for the poor dog. XDDD when you only gots one paw to hit with you hit twice as hard. XDDD
it was fun to draw. benches aren't as easy to draw as i imagined they'd be.

Really? Well, I wouldn't call it negative... I guess it just means your work is too awesome so my brain tries to think of something intelligent to say, but it can't because your drawings are too awesome for my brain to handle. I'd say it's a positive thing. The only negative thing is that it makes me write boring comments where I mention how my brain doesn't work.
I hope it ends up well! I'd hate it if something bad would happen. But if you'd call Jackfruit there, would things get better? Or worse?

we'd call Jackfruit to make sure nothing went overboard and Sparkz wasn't too violent, but now that i think about it, she might encourage it a bit too much instead of restrain him.

i assume Jackfruit to be like a shark, in that blood will only get her more excited, so even if she did intend to stop Sparkz initially, she might forget her objective before long. XDD
but then again, a lot of her eccentricities are just for show and she probably wouldn't let Sparkz do something he'd regret in the future.
