And english is not the most difficult language to learn, in fact it is the easiest, the most difficult are chinese, japanese, german, russian, korean and spanish.

Well it's a bit like French right? Both French and Spanish borrow heavily from each other,Latin,and English. Both languages are very close to one another and in Canada French speakers usually also know how to speAk English.(then again Quebec and New Brunswick are pretty much 90% bilingual). And it took me at least 5 years of teaching to understand French basics. So I can see why it might be easier for you
