Hi, Thank you for the comment and its nice to feel that someone is actually taking the time to go through my gallery, the girl is my daughter,Ondi , she is 15 1/2 now i really dont know how the time is moving so fast. It feels like yesterday I took this shot when i first got my 20D and was still getting used to it. Its strange that this is one of your favorites in my gallery,she is a wonderful girl i wish i could see more of her,but she is getting to that age wher her friends are everything.
I think in looking back i missed way to much of her childhood too. Time is precious and so is love. Thank you for the time.

yes, time does move fast. a year ago was yesterday, a month ago, today.
friends do feel like everything, even for me at the moment. support from someone of same age i guess. i'm not going to see my dad for 4weeks, and even i feel that is a very long time. time without someone you love seems longer, so long i can find myself counting down the days.

BEAUTIFUL EYES!!! And the eyes in ANY photo really make or break the image, ya know?!! I like the very short depth of field on this one, excellent soft focus in the background with your model/subject in crisp focus...
I really like the freckled look too, she is going to be a heart-breaker when she gets a little older if not already...

Almost eery. She's really focused, but beautifully innocent at the same time. Everything seems ambiguous (and I mean that she's almost smiling, but not quite. Her hair is almost blowing. The colors aren't soft, but definitely not harsh. Etc, etc). It's hard for me to grasp a direct concept, but the piece is so complete at the same time. I love it.

I am still getting used to the canon d20 and your comment is 110% spot on, I am used to the old manuel focus of the canon a1 over 20 yrs old...

yeah, it happens. I do a lot of low light work, and half the time I can't even tell if it's right or not on manual mode. :sigh: Ah well, someday maybe they'll bring back some of the manual focus sytems from days of yore and slap em on the newer systems. Would that be so much to ask?
