Based on the classic period Maya deity of "God A", known more commonly by his post classic name "Ah Puch" or "Ah Pukuh".

!!!! Oh my goodness! It is soo good to see Maya art, and so beautiful at that! Ah Puch is such an amazing deity and I think your art did him real justice. His expression really captures what we're told his attitude was like: cunning and malevolent. I also really liked that you remembered his bells! Just in general, I'm really into this piece and its thoroughness. As a Nahuatl woman, it always makes me excited to see art of the various deities across Nahuatl-speaking cultures, especially when they're as good as this one! Keep up the good work!

Falling or swimming? That leg looks like a fish tail.
I love how the skeleton fits perfectly into the negative space between his tail/leg and the border.
