Interesting design. I'm seeing something of a Gieger-like nature to it...all parts of it, both the creature and the gears, feel both mechanical and organic.
What are those shards flying from this beast's hand? Are they a gift? Or are they something being pulled toward him? If he is the keeper of time, are those fragments of time itself, or does each represent one man's life? Or is it something else entirely?
Lots to think about here.

It's always fascinating for me to perceive my own work through the lens of someone else's eye. Glad you find it engaging.

Of course. My favorite pieces are those like this, that draw the audience into a completely new world.

Death comes to us all...even the arachnids of dark dusty corners. The idea of finding a corpse upside down offering you a perch to sit upon as you contemplate the bigger picture in the frame. Is it macabre or is it perfectly normal ?
I love the idea of death dancing upon the dark and gloomy creatures of the night. The figures elongated with no visible hands or feet and the little lizard type critter together make me think of the world that the aliens came from ...........in the movie "close encounters of the third kind" They were my first real experience of humanoid aliens in reality.........before that i read asimov and Bradbury....creating alien shapes in my mind.

I see you have allowed the creatures to become part of the skeleton, where they blend almost into the frame until you wake up and your vision clears. I find the clock and its cogs whirring inside a pleasing distraction. The light and the view offers me hope that the victorians were right........we are all part of a machine and as such we behave like a well oiled machine.
Sadly it didnt happen.........we cocked it up as we entered the new century. Now all our industry is gone, we own nothing and we do very little to correct it. I think we will all end up thin parodies of the alien world.....................SAD

Smart interpretation of my work. I find the real magic of any good artwork is in its ability to cause you to lose yourself in the work, and become part of the story.

Thank you very much for the voyage into my own work. Its always a delight to see my work through someone else's eyes.

Cool Where the central figure is seated kind of reminds me of a spider, maybe time is woven in its web? Ah I'm rambling I better stop haha, love it though!
