העיבוד מוסיף דרמטיות להבעה הדרמטית של האדון בתמונה ובכך מחזק אותה.
לעניות דעתי, העריכה שבוצעה על פניו כהה מדי בעוד ששאר האזורים מסביבו בהירים מאוד והם מושכים את העין ובכך מונעים מהצופה להתמקד על הפורטרט עצמו ובאמת להתעמק בו ממבט ראשון.
תמונה לא רעה עם פוטנציאל טוב, בעריכה נוספת אפשר לשפר אותה במעט.
