the Rick Mercer Report used to have a segment called "talking to americans" (or something), where they would interview Americans on the street about various fake news topics from Canada. They would ask things like "Seven out of ten grade seven students in Canada can't point out their own state on a map, do you think this reflects poorly on Canada's education system?" xD; the amount of people to fall for this kind of stuff was amazing, they even got George Bush to congratulate Canada's "President Jean Poutine on his Double-Double". I shit you not.
