Yeeeeeeaaaars ago, a "regular customer" commissioned me an Original Transformer character for somebody else, transforming into a 1941 Lincoln Zephyr Coupe (www.mecum.com/lots/FL0119-3593… ), named "Zephyr" (of course) and with a pin-up like robot mode.
Life made that this commission was abandoned before I could even finish it (I was slow).
But even then, as I liked the idea, I kept on working on it over the years. I plan to do two drawings (alt mode and robot mode) parodying the 50's beauty contests. But it's a long run project.
meanwhile I was too impatient at some point and made this portrait of the character. I had fun using the headlights as the boobs of the pin-up and the soft-top as hair.
It's made with black and white pencils on gray paper and then colored on PS.
