[Full View for Detail] (For some reason, I put way more detail on Rily's nipples than what was necessary... they look good though.
)This is my colored submission for *Dragon88L and ~IchigoxAki 's contest. The contest entailed drawing their original characters, Riley and Ienzo, in a romantic pose. I didn't draw the lines, but my deviantart pal, *bejisan drew it for me to color and submit as my own. If I had the time to do so, I could have drawn a pic of my own, but recently I've been dreadfully busy.
I going to have to give a big thanks to Bejisan if I am able to win this contest, maybe I'll color something for him for free as thanks.

Thanks, once I get a chance in the next weeks, I'll start working on your contest's entry. I've been extremely busy with preparations for next week, homecoming week, my school does cool costume-based ideas each day and I've been plotting away. If I'm able to buy some costumes and makeup for next week, I'm going to post the pics up, hopefully like a day by day post. But no worry, I'll definitely find some time to try and work on your contest.

Thanks a lot for drawing it by the way, oh I was wondering how you actually did the lines of different widths.
Yeah I hope I can win, but I saw that there was this late submission that looks pretty good, it mostly will depend on the taste of the judges.

yeah I already thought 's one was fantastic... but those two previous entries ... (ie and ones are topnotch :/ )
This is gonna be a tough fight
I'm sorry, I really should have worked a lot more on the landscape and all... I've been utterly lazy (down in fact) those days... I wanted to draw a forest in the background (more like in a naruto tradition ...)
As for the different widths... I used ink pencil, and checked the box for "simulated width" on photoshop 7... then it was a really slow process of aiming longer than the real line for the end of the curved segment to actualy have some width 
As I did it with a mouse, it's tricky, at times you have to play with the size, and at times with the simulated width (even if to remove most of your line
As for digital inking just check out 's great tutorials on the subject.
