Description
The Wahraghir Wolves of Arillus are a very dangerous predator for travelers in certain areas on Arillus, namely the Bottomlands (which sit within the tranquility of the Elvine heartlands), the far northern areas of the Olymn empire, anywhere in the southlands of Gludge or Lace, and of course most of the eastern seaboard.

Luckily though, the Wahraghir are not exactly highly populous, and they tend to be loners rather than pack-hunters. Typically, fighting erupts when Wahraghir gather for any extended period of time, such as breeding seasons, and the groups disperse.

It is speculated that the Wahraghir, due to their white shock masks and apparently sight-less eyes, are actually blind, but their ability to hunt is very keen, so little evidence has actually proven the fact. And though they do tend to make almost hyena-like sounds from time to time, there is little evidence to prove they are actually maneuvering by echo-location.

Sometimes called 'masked' wolves, or 'booted' wolves, the Wahraghir is typically dark gray or black with their white mask and sometimes white boots on the hind legs, where the fur grows long as to cover the whole of the hind foot.

They are also distinguished by a rather peculiar tooth-structure, veiwed often by hapless travelers who venture too far into places unaccompanied by numbers too large for the loner wolves to attack.
