Why do Tokkaneers feel the constant need to abuse Suki like this? Why do all supporters of a non-fully-canon ship always bash the other half? Honestly, Toph and Suki are good friends. And I highly doubt she believes that murdering Sokka's girlfriend will get him to like her.
