Waha.
This started as something totally random. I was working on another project, waiting for my computer to boot, when i suddenly saw my Yami manga. then i picked it up (vol. 10, i think), and I saw Kijin, and then it just hit me right then and there.
And if sends off green messages (you know what I mean), i totally didn't want it to send those messages when i started working on it. Actually, the only thing in my head when i was working on it was 'LOOOVE'.
Very different from what I'm used to drawing, but I liked the sudden influx of detail. Somehow I missed doing detailed stuff. I also liked the color concentration on each character -- blue, red and white. XD And I know, the girl's sleeves on Byakko's arm looks wrong. Aha.
Done traditionally. .02 pigment pen, colored pencils. plus a little photoshop tweaking since Kijin's hair looked shockeningly blue at first.
