The structure of my wallwas built high
so sturdy and sound.
Locking me in this feeling
that I canβt get around.
Well, I am not sure of posting this shot, cos I am not really good at doing shots in a dark place.But I got this shot without planning, cos I just passed the school corridor then I saw that kid facing the slide outside. It just reminded me of my childhood.

I don't think you should move it to scraps. At least I really like it. It reminds me of adolescence. He's standing there looking at the slide and the playground and well.. the atmosphere lets you almost see the longing in his eyes. But in the adoloscent years you feel like you have to let go of childhood, because you're growing up (although I think everyone should take good care of their inner child and never lose it).

A wonderful shot - i do agree with the comment above, and i'd prefer the playground not be there, but then perhaps, it wouldn't be symbolic of child hood.

great job! and i like that its dark, it gives the effect that all the shadows around the edges are pressing in closer to the kid

... heavy comment incoming... well... you could had increased the time exposure and then decrease the brightness in the pc, why? because it would had improved thr reflexed lumnance in the room what am I talking about well pay attention to the wall near the boy's shirt as you see some light reflect in it's shirt and enlight the wall, but this also happens in the floor walls and everything, and all this difused radiosity would most likely im+prove the overall feeling of the image, btw a perfect crop and composition it's hard but you did it superbelly, second the depth is amazing even if the outside could be even more blurred the light tones gaved it just the long breath of deepness it needed and finnally the tonality ... absolutely racishing it is the most apropriated tone you could had find it's fabulous, so I understand why you would remove it to scraps, still I do think it's a good image to learn somethings, probably is the most atmospherically expressive till now.

I really like the shot, the darkness, etc...
