They say I’m okay and fine just the way I am
Then they say that I’m not being all that I am
Their words confuse…
Their words confound…
Their words hurt and ache
They hurt and ache deep down
They say that more is said through action than speech,
They say that my thoughts are only mine to reach,
They say that all that I do and say is for me to choose,
Then they say that I shouldn’t say that… it’s abuse
Their words perturb…
Their word’s profound…
Their words throb and sting
They throb and sting deep down
I say that words sometimes just aren’t worth speaking,
I say that actions should only be done with meaning,
I say they’re wrong and that I am my own person
Then I say these words to try and hurt them
My word’s revenge…
My words avenge…
My word’s true and just
...They are true and just
…Then why do I regret saying my words?

Da, I know the feeling; when people just start acting differently to you and you don't know why… always throws me for some existential angst.
The last five lines really ring true with me: we do our best to tell the truth, so why do we regret saying it?

Who knows why we regret saying how we feel, but we do. Like, we let everyone else get away with saying whatever they feel, even if it upsets us and when it does, we try to change ourselves to better fit what other people want. Then we apologise for acting the way we do... It's just weird.
It means a lot to me knowing that someone else emphasises with me and understands my point. Thank you : )

I'm sorry I don't get around to commenting loyally; but I try to comment on the things I feel worth commenting on, so I don't degrade into throwing "oh, nice words" etc. out like they don't mean anything.
In my experience it takes a great deal of activeness to get noticed here, since there are SO MANY PEOPLE!

Don't apologise for not commenting, it makes it more worthwhile when you (or in this case, I) have to work to gain recognition, it just makes you feel better in the end, y'know?
I can only imagine how active I would need to be to gain a decent amount of acknowledgement, and having 56kbps connection sort of hinders me

And, I know this is late, but you got on 2 Sense YAY!!! Due to my final exams that were going on the last month or two, I haven't listened to any 2 in ages but was like Agent-Elrond! I know her... sort of lol
