Have I mentioned that I have a space AU? 8') I do indeed. These are outfit sketches and deciding how I want to draw their powers.

Lyoko is an artificial solar system consisting of four planets sharing a single orbit around a sun. Each planet is covered in one main type of terrain: ice, desert, forest and mountain respectively. It's said that Lyoko suddenly just appeared one day, and there are no hints as to who may have created it aside from the mysterious towers that are scattered across the surface of each of the planets. Lyoko soon became a human colony.

One day when Jeremie is out exploring the woods of his forest planet home he stumbles upon a tower in a secluded grove, one that he previously had no idea existed. A mysterious force pushes him inside the tower, where he discovers an elflike girl - clearly an alien - fast asleep. When he leaves the tower with her, the seal is broken, and a dark, malevolent force named XANA is released into the solar system. But XANA is still trapped within the bounds of Lyoko, and so it activates towers on Lyoko's planets to try and kill Aelita, the only thing stopping it from escaping and destroying anything in its path. Aelita and Jeremie join forces with three capable fighters, forming their own space crew on the ship Skidbladnir, and attending the Kadic academy of space cadets in order to better their skills and thwart XANA's plans before it's too late.

Aelita is an alien from another galaxy, and daughter of Franz Hopper, the man who created Lyoko. She developed a symbiotic bond with the planets and they protect each other in times of need. As well as the power to manipulate Lyoko's environments, Aelita has the power of energy itself. Once she's recovered her memories she becomes able to project her own energy as energy fields, wings and a shield, among many other things. She, like the rest of her people, is also innately skilled with technology. Odd eventually helps her to gain a licence to fly the ship.

Jeremie is a human living in a village on the forest planet. He's incredibly tech-savvy as well as a keen astronomer, and has long dreamed of forming his own space crew. Growing up in a society dominated by humans Jeremie initially isn't too keen on the idea of mixing with aliens or "magic," but he gradually warms up to the other such members of his crew. He's the crew's navigator and de facto captain, monitoring and co-ordinating battles from up in the Skidbladnir.

Odd is an Animalian (working name), a race of aliens who appear part-human and part-animal. They're known for their psychic sense of their surroundings tens of lightyears away. As this sense is one of the more reliable methods of navigation in outer space, these people often hold positions on crews as navigators. Odd, however, was never interested in astronomy; he wanted to fly the ships. He took Kiwi with him to Lyoko - where he met and befriended Ulrich - in order to earn his licence away from the pressures of his people, and he did. He's the crew's pilot. He wields the power of time, but disguises himself as an air user due to the threat of pirates. He's a sharpshooter with his laser arrows and can summon a shield.

Yumi is a human living with her family on the mountain planet of Lyoko. Her family has a history of magic knowledge, which they keep hidden from the people around them. Yumi herself has a very in-depth knowledge of the foundations and the use of magic and helps to tutor the amnesic Aelita. She has long been using her powers, martial arts skills and metal fans to fight crime in her home town in disguise. Yumi has the power of earth, and is incredibly adept at using telekinesis. She sometimes uses devices that attach to her temples in order to enhance her power.

Ulrich is the son of a major technology tycoon. Fed up with home life, Ulrich one day escapes his family's ship and goes into hiding on the mountain planet of Lyoko, taking some pieces of prototype tech with him. Being used to the high life he finds it difficult to adjust and not attract attention, but after meeting Odd the two of them work it out together. He also befriends Yumi before being forced to flee to the desert planet with Odd in order to evade his father. He uses his martial arts skills, sabres, and the prototype technology he stole - a pair of superhumanly fast running shoes and a device allowing him to create temporary clones of himself - to fight.
