I'm churning artwork like crazy these days aren't I?I started this after reading a few volumes of Atomic Robo, inspired by robo's design I wanted to create a piece with a robot. Also something a wee bit more colourful and brighter compared to pretty much the rest of my gallery so here it is, the robot's name is Dave and he's escaping from some super secret organisation which has robot sentries out to hunt him down.

I like the story and the piece, but that cape bothers me a little. Does it have a hole in cape for his one arm?

ahhh oh god thanks for pointing that out Jess, I was planning to have the cape drape over his arm...but then my pc crashed twice so I forgot to D; I'll fix that later.

Very nice brush work, the muted lighting looks very natural.
Is his arm chopped off, or is it a cannon-arm a la Megaman? If former, could use more scarring at the cut. Also some grime and dirt since trudging through there doesn't seem to be ponies and sunshine

Thanks man. I realise now how much it looks like a cannon now...but it's supposed to be his chopped off arm, it would be more apparent if his second arm was showing but due to certain crashes I lost a lot of progress so I went with a different approach, but this one works out better composition wise.

Critique? Hmm just a bit more detail on the greenery would be awesome, since it feels like it contrasts with the details on the robot and the rocks!

I'm still not very good with greenery or how to get more detail in there without making it to overly detailed and spending weeks on end on it. But I'll get there eventually I know it's possible I just can't wrap my head around it atm XD
And yeahhh so much more stuff to come =u= it feels so good to be active like this again!
