The she-cat loved all her children, an emotion so strong it pressed against the sides of her chest. It was certainly tiring to keep watch of all five kits - at almost a moon old, they seemed to grow more adventurous every day - but it was well worth it. The wriggling of one of the she-kits caught her attention. The fawn tabby was perfect in every way imaginable, and Cosetta felt as though she could burst. Leaning down a bit, she channeled her strong feelings of affection into two short words.
