My art teachers came up to me the other day, and offered sort of my first [real] graphic design-like job. The job was to re-create my high school's mission statement, because they had discovered that the other school in my town had a better and more detailed mission statement than ours and out crappy paragraph of words. So, they asked me to draw an eagle and then finagle it around the statement to make it look professional, and better than our competitor's. Here is the final piece of our newly and improved Mission Statement [link]
