This is a pretty weird piece of work I did over then span of last night and this morning....just wanted to try doing some better quality rendering of shadow and highlights, and it ended up like this- the lighting is inaccurate, and the figure itself is slightly skewif in terms of its shape, but its my first attempt at doing hand rendering on a larger scale with my wacom.....isn't it annoying that I';m really not using the wacom to the best of its ability yet?
anyway....just thought I should put it up - im trying to make the lighting more dramatic with deeper (and more accurate
) shadows at the moment.maybe ill update it later - until then, nuff sed....

errr....how didja do that scratchy looking shadows? and this was all using your tablet thingy? still very good, although it still is abstact to me.
as for the lighting, i guess just make more of a contast between the white and greys adn black, the way i see it the white can stay the same but he grey-ish question mark shape-thingy, can be just a biiiit more textured and shadowed.
still very good, especially if done over the coure of a night time.

ill admit, its pretty shitty, but yeah - i felt i needed to upload it beacuse i always get halfway through things and never finish them, and this is one of those things that may never get finished......also, the scratchy shadows were just done by hand with the tablet, and i agree with the contrast thing - too grey and not enough white.... thanks tho ^_^
