ahahha!!! yes!!! i watched that movie too! marvin IS the best, i love him cause hes so depressive, it makes regular depressive people (like me) look normal.
nice shading on the arms with the greys, and the figure is nice too, you dont nessisaily have to put him all the way at the left, you could give a bit more room cause it looks a bit crammped but funny, and great either way.

thanks dude ^_^ i really REALLY appreciate your input - ill make a note of his placement on the picture - i'm thinking of re-scanning + colouring him, and drawing an actual surrounding for him so as to make the image a bit more interesting too
