Who would have thought dandelions would look so beautiful up close? Okay, let's get down to it.
Vision: To capture this at such a close angle and do it with perfection is something worth seeing over and over again. Five stars.
Originality: The concept of the dandelion is not new-- in fact, we all see one-- but capturing one up close and personal is a rare sight to behold. Four and-a-half stars.
Technique: You definitely took your time with this, and I commend you for that. Not too many people take their time with stuff like this, so that's always good to see. Four and-a-half stars.
Impact: The impact of this is a little bit iffy for me, but I still like it nonetheless. Four stars.

I agree with you that Dandelions are done to death on dA but there is something about their delicate fleeting existence that makes me capture them every time I see one.
I continue to explore the hidden world of small things.. hoping to get a more powerful macro lens (like the canon mp-65) one of these days from borrowlenses.
