SPOILERS IN DESCRIPTION FOR PW1 and PW3!!
Title explanation: If you think about it, Edgeworth and Maya's fates are parallel. They were both only briefly raised by a single parent, and the single parent disappeared from their lives at an early age. Both Edgeworth and Maya's single parents were killed, and the two children thought at some point that they were the murderer of their own parent.
Disregarding my obvious Mitsumayo love, in this picture I was attempting to capture the fact that these characters could relate to each other in ways the other PW cast cannot. The romantic implications are in no way cannon. I simply walked the arguable stretch it takes to pair them together.
Characters belong to Capcom.

Gosh I really don't ship Edgeworth with anyone, but the emotion you captured in this drawing is impeccable.
To be honest, it reminds me of a scene from one of my stories, and that's probably why it hit me when I saw this drawing. Wonderful job.
I think my only qualm with it is that it would be nice to have seen Maya's eyes/facial expression. I believe that would have added a lot more depth to it all.
But other than that, I really do love this drawing. Wonderful job.
