It's 2057 and the world has flown headfirst into a golden age. With the approval of interstellar mining operations in the year 2018, new elements were discovered that we could use to create structures unimaginable to the human race before the 2020s. Others, we could use to harness great power, although it didn't burn clean. With these, we made great scientific advances at the cost of destroying our planet and forcing us to flee outwards. Although we were a dying race, the fall of Earth forced humanity into a strong amalgamation that wouldn't give up hope. By 2110, Earth was but a derelict, smog-covered shell of what was once a great power now turned into scavenging groups of pathetic, yet optimistic creatures searching for a new home.
